By using this site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Your use of this site means you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. All purchases are final and cannot be cancelled.

1. Customer's Assumption of Risk and Responsibilities

All products sold by Wings West are sold "as is." No warranties are offered on any product. None of our products carry domestic or international safety certifications. Wings West is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from the use of our products.

All items sold are aftermarket automotive products. Installing aftermarket products may sometimes require removing factory reinforcements, bumpers, turn signals, or other safety equipment from the vehicle. Any such removal is done entirely at the customer's own risk.

2. Product Disclaimer — Fitment, Prep & Installation

All polyurethane and fiberglass parts are aftermarket products, not OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Because of this, some fitting and finishing work should be expected as part of a proper installation. This is standard practice across the aftermarket fiberglass and polyurethane industry — not a sign of a defective part.

Here's what that typically involves:

  • Test fit before finishing. Every polyurethane or fiberglass part should be test-fitted to the vehicle before prepping, priming, or painting.
  • Professional prep work. Polyurethane and fiberglass parts generally require professional prep (sanding, filling, priming) to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish.
  • Professional installation. All aftermarket parts should be installed by a professional shop — ideally one with specific experience in aftermarket fiberglass and polyurethane products, rather than a general body/collision shop.
  • Minor adjustments are normal. Latches, hooks, and brackets may need slight adjustment to achieve a factory-like fit.
  • Small gaps or trimming. Minor gaps or trim work needed before painting fall within normal tolerances for aftermarket parts and are not considered defects.

Images shown are for illustration purposes only; the actual product may vary due to product enhancement. Please contact our staff with any questions before installation. Accessories such as fog lights, driving lights, splitters, canards, add-on lips, intake scoops, or other enhancement products are not included unless specifically stated in the product description.

If you believe your part has a genuine manufacturing defect, please refer to the Defective Products section below for how to proceed. If your concern is fitment-related, please see the picture requirements in that section — altering a part before documenting the issue will void your ability to return, exchange, or claim warranty on it.

3. Shipping Policy

Wings West ships all orders using the most economical method available. FedEx is our preferred carrier, except for oversized items, which ship via truck freight.

Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped. If a package is refused at delivery, the customer will be charged the full order amount, minus inbound and outbound shipping costs, plus a 30% restocking fee. International customers are responsible for their own duties and taxes.

4. Shipping Instructions

Many of our products are large or oversized, so the freight carrier may need to call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please give us a current phone number so we can pass it along to the shipping company, and please make sure to keep your scheduled appointment.

If you miss your delivery appointment, the item will be returned to the distributor and you will be responsible for the round-trip shipping cost. Being available for your scheduled delivery is the best way to avoid these extra charges.

5. Shipping Damage

We pack every order carefully to prevent damage in transit, but damage can still occur occasionally. All damage must be identified and documented at the time of delivery — claims for damage discovered afterward cannot be honored.

Please follow these steps carefully:

  • Inspect before you sign. Do not sign the delivery receipt until you've checked all packages for damage. A crushed, torn, or broken box may mean the product inside is damaged too, even if it looks fine from the outside.
  • Note it in writing. If you find damage, write the word "damaged" directly on the delivery receipt or freight bill, and have the driver sign it. This single word is what protects your ability to file a claim — please don't add extra description of the damage on the receipt itself, since this could lead the driver to dispute or refuse the notation.
  • Never refuse or return the shipment without approval. Doing so can forfeit your right to file a damage claim.
  • Keep everything. Retain all original boxes, packing materials, and the damaged item itself so the carrier's inspector can review them.
  • Report it quickly. Notify the carrier at the time of delivery, and let Wings West know within 24 hours.

Once a receipt is signed without a damage notation, the shipment is considered accepted in good condition, and insurance coverage no longer applies.

Where damage is properly noted, the carrier will determine whether to issue a repair payment or a replacement value payment. Replacement value is fixed at the amount you paid; repair cost is negotiable directly with the carrier. Any dispute about the settlement amount is between you and the carrier — Wings West is not a party to that claim and is not liable for the damaged merchandise or its outcome, though we're happy to assist as a courtesy wherever we can.

6. Shipping Outside the Contiguous US

Deliveries outside the contiguous United States — including Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and other countries — require a shipping quote before purchase. Orders placed for these destinations without first requesting a quote will be cancelled and refunded.

Customs fees, duties, and any required customs broker are the customer's responsibility. Please check with your local customs office before ordering.

If you'd prefer, we're glad to ship to a freight forwarding company on your behalf (no shipping quote required, as long as the forwarder's address is within the contiguous US). Arranging and paying for the freight forwarder is the customer's responsibility.

7. Returns

  • Special orders are non-returnable.
  • Any part that has been used, modified, painted, or installed cannot be returned.
  • All returns must be approved by Wings West in advance — please don't send anything back before receiving authorization.
  • Return requests must be submitted within 5 days of receiving your order, and the item must arrive back at Wings West within 14 days of the original ship date.
  • A completed Return Requisition form is required for every return.

Once approved, we'll issue you an RMA (Return Authorization) number and label. The RMA number must be visible on the outside of the package — returns without it will be rejected without exception.

Returned items must be unused, unaltered, and unpainted, and must include all original hardware, instructions, and a copy of the original invoice. Approved, eligible returns are subject to a 40% restocking fee on the purchase price (shipping and handling are non-refundable). Please note: a part arriving damaged is evaluated under our Shipping Damage process, not as a defect, and items ordered in error by the customer are not returnable for that reason alone.

All returns must ship prepaid — packages sent collect or without an RMA number will be refused and returned to you at your expense. We recommend insuring your return shipment for full value, since Wings West and the carrier are not responsible for loss or damage on the way back to us; damage that occurs in return transit should be claimed directly with that carrier.

8. Defective Products

Wings West products — bumpers, lips, side skirts, spoilers, hoods, and similar items — are made from high-quality fiberglass or polyurethane and include wire mesh where applicable. Professional installation is required for all products.

A few important notes:

  • Product images are for illustration only; the actual item may vary due to ongoing product improvements. Please reach out to our staff with any questions before you begin.
  • Aftermarket parts do not fit exactly like OEM factory parts, and some modification is typically required for proper fitment.
  • Always test-fit a part before modifying or painting it. Altering a part first will void your ability to return, exchange, or claim warranty on it.
  • Add-on accessories (fog lights, driving lights, splitters, canards, add-on lips, intake scoops, etc.) are not included unless stated in the product description. Their absence is not a defect.

If your concern is fitment-related, we'll need photos to evaluate it: one picture of the part installed on the vehicle (with the vehicle visible), and a close-up of the specific area in question. Sending 4–5 photos from different angles up front will help us move your request along quickly.

9. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may not be legal for street use in every state — it's the buyer's responsibility to confirm compliance with applicable state and federal law before purchase.

All goods are sold "as is," without any warranty, express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, patents, or other third-party rights.

10. Special Orders

Special orders require a non-refundable deposit for the full order amount. If the buyer cancels for any reason, that deposit is forfeited.

All shipping dates for special orders are estimates. Wings West is not responsible for late shipments, and buyers are not entitled to chargebacks, price reductions, or other offsets due to a delayed or missed estimated delivery date.

If a special-order item has arrived in our warehouse and the buyer has not made any attempt to claim it within 30 days, the order will be treated as cancelled and the deposit forfeited. As with other special orders, these items cannot be returned.

11. Backorders

Most products are in stock and ship within 48–72 hours. In higher-volume periods, fulfillment may take up to a full work week. Some out-of-stock items may take 4–12 weeks to produce and ship. Items are not held or reserved without a payment or deposit on file.

12. Installation of Automotive Products

Our automotive parts require some modification and are designed for professional aftermarket installation only. Shops experienced with OEM installation are not necessarily experienced with aftermarket installation — please choose your installer accordingly, as using a non-aftermarket-experienced shop will void all warranties and return eligibility.

Due to the materials and manufacturing process used, these parts are not a direct bolt-on. Installation may involve prepping, heating, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, cutting, or other body work. By purchasing, you're confirming that you understand and accept these installation procedures.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

This site, and all information, content, materials, products, and services made available through it, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. There are no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the site or anything offered through it. Your use of the site and any related products or services is entirely at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that our servers or emails are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Wings West will not be liable for any damages of any kind — direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential — arising from use of this site or anything offered through it, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This includes damages related to inconvenience, downtime, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of use, loss of data or goodwill, and any special or collateral damages, whether or not foreseeable. This also includes costs such as transportation, labor, towing, storage, premium freight charges, or rental costs of any kind.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages. If your state's laws apply, some of the limitations above may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights.

14. Binding Arbitration

Any dispute relating to this agreement will be resolved through binding arbitration under California Code of Civil Procedure Section 1280 et seq. This applies to all disputes, including claims of negligence, breach of contract, or fraud.

The arbitrator will be a neutral party selected by both sides or appointed by the court, and the arbitrator's decision is binding (subject to the appeal rights described below). Arbitrator fees are shared equally between the parties. Both sides retain full discovery rights under the Civil Discovery Act and may file the same dispositive motions (demurrer, motion to strike, motion for summary judgment) available in court; the arbitrator hears all such motions.

If either party won't select an arbitrator or submit to arbitration, the other party may petition the Los Angeles Superior Court to appoint one or compel arbitration. The arbitrator applies California law and conducts the arbitration in Los Angeles, California. An award may be entered against a party who fails to appear at a properly noticed hearing. The arbitrator will issue a written decision with factual findings and reasoning within 90 days of submission, whether or not either party requests it. Once final, the decision may be entered and enforced as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15. Waiver of Trial

Without this arbitration clause, both parties would otherwise have the right to a jury or judge trial in the event of a dispute. By agreeing to these Terms, both parties are giving up that right and understand that any dispute will be decided through arbitration rather than in court.

16. No Waiver

Nothing in these Terms should be read as Wings West giving up any of its rights or remedies unless that waiver is made in writing and signed by an authorized Wings West representative. A delay or decision not to enforce a provision at one point doesn't prevent us from enforcing it later.

17. No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms are between you and Wings West only. Nothing here is intended to give any other person or company any legal or equitable right, benefit, or remedy.

18. Governing Law

Any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these Terms is governed by the laws of the State of California.

19. Jurisdiction

For any dispute connected to these Terms, both parties agree to the jurisdiction of courts located in Los Angeles, California, waive any objection to that venue, and waive the right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, that part will apply only to the extent it's not deemed invalid there, and it won't affect the enforceability of the rest of these Terms or their application elsewhere.

21. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond their reasonable control — acts of God, war, strikes, labor disputes, and similar events (this does not include a lack of financial resources). Each party will notify the other promptly of such an event and resume performance as soon as reasonably possible once it's resolved.

22. Site Access

You're welcome to use this site for personal purposes. You may not download (beyond normal page caching), modify, reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit the site or its content. This includes copying product listings, descriptions, or pricing; using the site's content for another merchant's benefit; framing the site or its trademarks; using hidden text or meta tags referencing our brand; or using bots, scrapers, or other automated data-gathering tools. Unauthorized use of the site immediately ends your permission to use it.

23. Site Policies and Modification

These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Wings West regarding your use of this site, and replace any prior agreements or understandings on the subject. Wings West may update this site, its policies, or these Terms at any time, with or without notice; updates take effect once posted. We encourage you to check back periodically. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the site.

24. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — belongs to Wings West or our content and service providers, and is protected under U.S. and international intellectual property law.

25. Website Images

Sample photos on this site typically show highly customized vehicles with multiple modifications, including paint and other alterations. Please read each product description carefully, as the image may include options or parts not included with your purchase. Items such as lights, splitters, canards, paint, and other accessories are not included unless specifically listed in the product specifications.

26. Product Descriptions

We do our best to describe every product accurately, but we can't guarantee that descriptions or other site content are complete, current, or error-free. If a product doesn't match its description, your remedy is to return it in unused condition under our Returns policy.

27. Typographical Errors

If a product is listed with an incorrect price or incorrect information due to a typo, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders placed for that item.

28. Comments, Communications, and Other Content

You may submit reviews, questions, or other content, as long as it isn't illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, privacy-invasive, infringing, spam, or otherwise objectionable, and doesn't misrepresent who you are.

By submitting content, you grant Wings West a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute it, including your name if we choose to use it. You confirm that you own or control the rights to what you submit, that it's accurate, and that it won't cause harm to any person or entity — and you agree to cover any claims that arise from content you provide. We may monitor, edit, or remove submitted content at our discretion, and we're not responsible for content posted by you or other visitors.

29. Termination

Wings West may terminate these Terms, your access to the site, any related services, or any pending transaction at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Wings West reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without prior notice, and is not responsible for typographical, photographic, or pricing errors. By using wingswest.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
